Chevy's newest MPV preparations for the European market. Debut at Paris Motor Show 2010, the Chevy Orlando production version will have the same base concept model at the Paris Motor Show 2008 and the Cruze.
The figure of this car looks a bit crossover because such a low roof sedan but more muscular because of its wide fenders and tires-profile 16-18 inch. Has 7 seater for passengers and five-door.
Orlando will be available in three variants. While engine choices consisting of 1,800 cc gasoline-powered 141 hp, as well as units of 2,000 cc diesel-powered 131 hp and 163 hp. These machines are also similar to those used Cruze. All variants were equipped with electronic suspension control, airbags, air conditioning, and electric mirrors as standard features.
GM initially planned to produce this Chevy to the American market. But ultimately decided not to sell Orlando in the U.S., even for the American market, they will launch a twin named Granite under the banner of the GMC who are still in the concept car stage.
Orlando Production will begin in October 2010, and will soon be marketed early next year in Europe, and the following countries in other continents.
