The automotive industry is being hit by a fever of more alternative fuels green. This is also done in South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai did not want to miss the flow by developing alternative fuel products.
One of Hyundai's efforts in developing non-fossil fuels is to present a pilot program using the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell.Uji try this using a model of Tucson ix.
This model will experience a series of tests which are very dense and complex schedule starting next year. And is a cooperative project with the government of South Korea's Hyundai. After this test series ended, the production version will start being processed in 2015.
Currently, the model was named the Hyundai Tucson FCEV ix. With a fuel cell, this model is able to travel 650 km on a single recharge. Hyundai states this model uses a powered drive systems powered cell systems 100 kW and has two tanks that store hydrogen gas as the main producers of basic materials into fuel cell car driver.
Hyundai confirms both hydrogen gas and fuel cells are still able to work even in temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius. Model ix Tucson FCEV was the development of projects Hybrid Tucson several years ago. Now this new version uses the basic ingredients from local as much as 96%.
As battery-powered electric cars, fuel cell cars also have limited infrastructure and lack of availability of recharging stations in the next few years.
