Suzuki A-Star

For the first time in the history of automotive industry in India, a model will have 3 versions of different names in several countries in the world market. Is a compact car model output and work together Maruti Suzuki which will have three different names in a single model.
This compact model will be named A-Star in the Indian market by Maruti-Suzuki. Then Nissan Pixo, according to the contract Maruti and Nissan Motors, and Suzuki Maruti Alto in accordance with the contract with Suzuki being marketed in Europe. This model will be manufactured exclusively in Maruti Suzuki factory in Manesar, Haryana in India.
Now the urban society in India has been able to have a global model from Suzuki and Maruti this. According to Maruti Suzuki A-Star will go in a different segment with Alto, Alto own and still be marketed as one model from Maruti Suzuki India market.
The three names will be carrying the same platform, although there will be little difference between European and Indian versions of the model. Let A-Star will feature simpler than Alto and Nissan Pixo.
A-Star, Alto and Pixo will be powered by Suzuki K type engine capacity of 1,000 cc. But Alto and Nissan Pixo will be equipped with 4-speed automatic transmission that is similar to their rivals Hyundai i10 is not owned by A-Star.
A-Star will enter the small hatchback compact car segment in India and has a length of 3.5 meters, 1.47 meters tall and 2.3 meters wide.
City car is equipped with a compact display and also the passenger cabin and luggage space field, addition of A-Star is also equipped with several safety features such as supporting airbags, ABS, electric power steering and a multifunction steering wheel.
Maruti Suzuki has launched a model A-Star is in the Indian market since last November and is ready to enter the global market next year.
