Nissan Altima

New York Police Department (NYPD) has officially operates 40 units of Nissan Altima hybrid car, started last week. To-40 Nissan Altima car consists of 18 units (NYPD has a logo) to patrol daily, and 22 other units not given logo.

Cars patrol this program will help New York City (NY) PlaNYC is to reduce waste gas emissions. "In addition Altima will save expenditure of fuel in the NYPD," said Mayor of NY Michael Bloomberg.

Hybrid cars can run as far 35 miles per gallon. Compared with ordinary cars, hybrid Altima bbm can save around 50 percent.
